Transfer News: Pedro, Bony, Lallana and Can

Todays transfer news brings some new names to the table, starting with LFC bosses putting together a bid for Barcelona and Spain super-star Pedro The Daily Mail reports today. It is reported that new coach, Luis Enrique has hinted to the Reds that the 26 year old could be available for the right price.

Swansea striker Wilfried Boy has also made the list according to The Metro. For a fee of around £18m, the striker who made 25 goals in his first season of English football is said to form part of Rodgers plan to bring strength to the front line. Arsenal and Bayern Munich have also expressed an interest in the 25 year old player who hails from the Ivory Coast.

Adam Lallana’s name has again been mentioned by The Daily Star but it seems as though Southampton’s asking price of around £30m is a little too rich for LFC bosses. The 26 year old midfielder is said to be keen on a move to Anfield.

Rudi Voller has hinted that Liverpool have shown an interest in Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can, however the 20 year old has a complex clause in his contract which could prove impossible to negotiate around.

Voller has been quoted as saying:

“We know of the interest, but we don’t have anything that’s official,”

“It is clear that Emre has a clause in his contract.”
