Suarez would love to return to Ajax

Star striker Luis Suarez has  told the Dutch publication  Helden Magazine that he would love to move back to his former club , even if the manager doesn’t want him! However, he doesn’t plan to do this until the end of his career.

Speaking of the club at which he played for four years and scores 81 goals, he said;

“I would definitely go back to Ajax.

“Even if the coach there doesn’t want me, I’m going. Definitely.

“Ajax is very important for me: ideal club, taught me a lot, using both feet, playing with the ball and being a team player.

“Ajax was a very important step in my life. My wife Sofia and I are crazy about Amsterdam and the lifestyle, the respect from and for everyone.

lfc-books“We had a happy life and could live there in peace. We walked a lot through Amsterdam.”

Speaking of the former Ajax manager, the Uragyian was effusive in his praise saying;

“Martin Jol gave me a lot of confidence,” he continued. “I was honoured when he made me captain of the team and I felt responsible.”

LFC fans can rest assured that Suarez isn’t likely to jump ship any time soon. Apart from signing a new long-term contract in December last year, winning the titles of PFA Player of the Year and the Football Writers Association Player of the Year, is sure to keep Suarez happy resident for the foreseeable future.
