Kevin Nolan will do everything in his power to help Liverpool win the League

West Ham skipper and long time friend of Liverpool Kevin Nolan has said he would love to see Liverpool win the league and will do everything in his power to help them today. LFC hold a special place in Nolan’s heart as he grew up in Liverpool and spent time at the club when he was younger.

He has said that it’s great to see the Redmen regaining their success, He said:

“I think I would be celebrating with them if they win the league,”

“It’s looking good in the fact that it’s great to see Liverpool in that position on the last day of the season.

“We’ve got a few boys who were there last year and still have friends there, and obviously with my affinity with Liverpool, it would be a nice way to finish off the season.”

Of course, although helping Liverpool is pretty high on Nolan’s agenda, ensuring West Ham finish as high up the table as possible obviously takes priority:

“I hope they do it. But first and foremost I just hope we get the points we want. It’s keeping us in the position where we are and that’s where we want to stay.”

It’s clearly in West Ham’s interest to work as hard as possible to achieve a good result today. Although they can’t climb any higher than their current position in the table, the results in other games could mean they finish 15th. Therefore it’s critical that they secure as many points against Man City as possible today.
